A community project to benefit the Child Advocacy Center
KICK-OFF EVENT
Over 75 people joined in on Sunday, May 17th, 2009 for the Jay's Hands Kick-Off Party
Child Advocacy Center supporters of all ages helped mold clay, paint beads, and string the pieces together to create beautiful ornaments. Dr. Herrington's family was on site for the event and CAC President/CEO Sherry Kitchens presented them with a proclamation from the Mayor of Gainesville proclaiming May 17, 2009 Dr. Jay Herrington day! All donations and ornaments made that day benefitted the Child Advocacy Center and raised awareness of its mission to break the cycle of abuse in our community.
